The Newmarket Huskies had the best AG% score at the Ontario Cross Country Championships to secure their first place standing (107 pts) in the Ontario Masters Club XC Series. The Huskies were awarded the Jim Breslin Cup for the fifth year in a row.
Toronto Olympic Club came on strong after a slow start in the Series – finishing 2nd with 171 pts. UTTC, who were in 2nd place all season, were nicked in the last race, finishing in 3rd place, with 176pts only 5 pts behind TOC. Longboat only finished 2 points behind for 4th place. That’s only TWO finish place positions over three races !
