W45 Gaby Szanto and M40 Ovidiu Negoita were selected at the OMA Athletes of the Month for April. Both won Gold medals at the World Masters Indoor Championships in Finland. Their marks also broke the Canadian Records.
Gaby (center on the podium) jumped 2.80m in the Pole Vault and Ovi had a 1.85m mark in the High Jump.
